Abstract
This paper examines the evolving needs of NQTs in their first year of teaching, and how an enhanced programme of support has been developed in response by an ITT provider. Conclusions are presented about the structuring, implementation and impact of this programme in relation to NQT retention, attainment and wellbeing.
