Abstract

To confirm the factor structure of the 7-item adult form of the Francis scale of attitude towards Christianity, data from 135 English university students were examined using both exploratory and confirmatory factor analytic methods. Results suggest that the 7-item adult form of the Francis scale has a unidimensional factor structure. In addition, the reliability estimates indicate that the 7-item adult form is highly homogeneous. It is suggested that these results confirm the unidimensionality of the 7-item adult form of the Francis scale.
