Abstract
In this article, the authors challenge the notion of “the blank page” and, with reference to visual phenomena such as Charles Bonnet Syndrome and pareidolia, suggest ways in which the page can be reconceptualised as a space in which text(s) already exist, along with ways in which they may be accessed by the writer.
