Abstract

Recent data of Maltby, McCollam, and Millar were reanalysed to examine the relationship between religious attitudes and obsessional personality traits in a sample of UK adults. For 34 men and 85 women significant correlations were found between the Francis Scale of Attitudes Towards Christianity and the Sandler-Hazari Obsessionality Inventory trait scale. This supports previous findings linking religious attitudes and obsessional personality traits in student samples.
