Abstract
To facilitate cross-cultural research in the psychology of religion, the reliability and validity of a German translation of the 7-item short-form of the Francis Scale of Attitude toward Christianity was examined among two samples, one of 725 German school children and one of 331 German undergraduate university students. Data analyses among both samples support the reliability and validity of the scale and commend it for further use with German speaking samples.
