Abstract

This chapter provides guidelines for a collaborative project between two universities. It was originally designed as an undergraduate international collaboration, but could be adapted to a more generalized Global Classroom project suitable to lower or higher levels of students (i.e., secondary school to postgraduate). The assignment and guidelines provided in this chapter are drawn from a four-year collaborative program in partnership between Drexel University (United States) and Leeds University (United Kingdom). First-year, first-term undergraduate students engaged in e-teams for the development and presentation of entrepreneurial ideas focused on community and corporate social responsibility. The experiences of the Drexel Leeds Global Classroom Project demonstrate best practices for institutional inclusion of such programs, while the detailed instructions for faculty and students allow interested faculties to implement a similar collaborative program at their institution.
