    Abstract

I examine the effect of trauma at different stages of development as interruptions to the formation of the psyche resulting in specific clinical structures such as psychosis, neurosis, and obsessions. Using specific case studies of children who have experienced trauma, the I highlight techniques for skills building and therapeutic intervention to foster resiliency. And though many psychological disorders are not diagnosable in early childhood, there are signs and symptoms to watch for in specific structures.
