With over 23 years of academic career in the United Kingdom and Overseas, I have developed and nurtured a comprehensive understanding of the national and global education landscape and the complexities of the educational environment. During this time, I have enhanced my skills in interpreting this information and advising on the possible implications for the University's position, strategy, and operational implementation. In addition to this, I have established a partnership approach to national and international market development, and I am very agile in responding to changing internal and external drivers.

In my various roles, I have become a clear strategic thinker with strong influencing skills and an outstanding track record of maintaining effective personal and professional relationships both inside the University and with external partners, including industry.

This has involved me implementing strong academic leadership, strategic thinking, and critical evaluation skills, all guided by the 4EIS pillars of "Employability, Entrepreneurship, E-digital, Experiential Learning, Inclusivity and Sustainability" with the USP- "Nurturing Inclusive Excellence."
