Accepting PhD Students
My research specialises in the biopsychology of appetite control, eating behaviour and weight management. I obtained my PhD from the University of Leeds in 2013 which examined the role of liking and wanting as risk factors for overconsumption in a distinct, trait binge eating, behavioural phenotype of obesity. Following my PhD I worked as a Research Fellow at the University of Leeds in the Human Appetite Research Unit on a EU-funded clinical trial before joining the School of Social and Health Sciences at Leeds Trinity University.
