Biography

Dr. Lilian holds an HND in Building Technology, an MSc in Construction Management, and a PhD in Building Technology. Her academic journey has fostered a deep commitment to addressing the challenges of affordable housing, incorporating sustainable principles, net-zero construction strategies, and modular building techniques. Driven by the need for resilient solutions in an evolving industry, Dr. Lilian's work focuses on advancing the knowledge and practice of sustainable construction.

As a lecturer, Lilian encourages independent inquiry, guiding students to develop critical thinking skills essential for today’s complex built environment. Currently, she is exploring innovative teaching approaches—such as narrative-driven lessons and future AI-enhanced learning materials—to ensure that learners have the tools and confidence to grow both academically and professionally.

Above all, Lilian strives to be recognised as a reliable, knowledgeable resource, committed to inspiring the next generation of construction professionals and shaping a more sustainable future.
