Personal profile


Kathryn is a Senior Lecturer for Secondary Education. Having completed a Business Studies degree, she also holds a Masters of Arts in Economics.

Before joining Leeds Trinity University Kathryn had a variety of roles and experiences. She has been a teacher of Economics, Business and Commerce (traditional and vocational courses), the Head of Economics and Business and Senior Sixth form Tutor. She has also been a mentor for PGCE trainees and owned a tutoring agency business. Kathryn joined Leeds Trinity University in 2012 as Education Partnership Manager.

Research interests

Kathryn has a specific interest and expertise in Microeconomics. She can be consulted by organisations on enterprise education. 



Kathryn teaches two modules throughout the Postgraduate courses available. These are:

  • PGCE Business Tutor

  • School Direct Local Lead – Beckfoot, ARC, Mosaic, Pinnacle, St Anthony’s and Catholic Schools Partnership (CSP).
