Biography
Jenny is an Associate Principal Lecturer for Primary Education. Having undertaken a degree in Primary Education (Music), she was then awarded a Master of Arts in Education in 2012 and gained a Higher Education Academy Fellow Award in 2014.
Before Jenny joined Leeds Trinity University she worked in a variety of primary schools. Her first teaching post was at Miles Hill Primary School. Following this, she did some supply teaching at Woodlesford Primary School where she taught across both Key Stages 1 and 2. From 1997 onwards Jenny worked as a Key Stage 2 Teacher at St Gregory’s Catholic Primary School, where she held the responsibilities of being a Key Stage 2 Teacher, Key Stage 2 Co-ordinator, Literacy Co-ordinator, Music Co-ordinator and PSHCE Co-ordinator. Jenny joined Leeds Trinity University in 2005 where she has held a variety of roles and responsibilities. She has been:

Research interests
Jenny has a specific interest and expertise in Music in the Primary School, PE in the Primary School and Children learning through the outdoors. She also has an interest in Catholic Education.
She is currently working on one research/consultancy project. This is NQT support in the Catholic Primary School.
