Biography

An Associate Professor in Citizenship and Educational Leadership, Co-ordinator of Global Citizenship and Children's Rights Network, and former Non-Executive Director for CODESA, UK. Previously served as Programme Leader in Education Studies. I have also worked as a Senior Lecturer and Co-ordinator of Educational Foundations and Management programmes, teaching postgraduate and undergraduate courses at the University of Arusha, Tanzania and the University of Namibia. I also served as associate director for the graduate school. Before working in higher education, I had also taught in several high schools in Leeds and in Further Education in Bradford for over 6 years.  In 2013/14 I was associated with the University of Liverpool Online (Doctoral Development Programmes -Education) as an honourary Senior Lecturer. I  have served as an internal and external doctoral examiner and continue to be a supervisor for doctoral students.
