Biography

Flor Silvestre Gerardou also known as Flor Silvestre Moreno Ramírez (maiden name) is Lecturer in Business.  She has previously worked as a lecturer in Accounting at Universidad Autónoma de Tamaulipas (Mexico), King’s College London, University of Lincoln and the International Study Centre of University of Lincoln. She has taught several undergraduate modules in business related subjects including Financial Accounting, Management Accounting and Economics.

Her research interest revolves around local public finance, intergovernmental relations and politics. Her research addresses the understanding of how and which fiscal decentralisation arrangements might drive accountability and public entrepreneurship at the municipal level. She was a recipient of a CONACYT fellowship in Mexico.
