I am a human geographer with research and teaching expertise invested in the application of social practice approaches to understanding global health inequalities. Areas of research interests have over the years explored decolonial and feminist practices, subaltern geographies and the relationship between the built and digital environments and perceptions of well-being. The underpinning pedagogy informing my teaching and research practice emerges from my robust academic background in human geography and experiences of applied health service research; allowing me to approach social issues from a multidisciplinary and culturally responsive perspective that embraces the use of social statistics, informatics, and social network analysis to promote the relevance of applied social research in addressing health inequalities.
