Biography

David's Doctoral Research is a continuation of his previous research in Applied Followership, now looking at Followership Salience and how this can be used to support organisational development against a background of changing work practices with specific regard to environmental, social, and governance strategy.

David has extensive commercial experience through senior leadership roles in large corporates and family businesses. He served as an Officer in the Army Reserve where he retired as Lt Col before embarking on his academic journey. He sits on a number of commercial and charity Boards and is an active volunteer with the Captain Paul Watson Foundation UK and British Divers Marine Life Rescue where he is a founder member and rescue team lead of their Large Whale Disentanglement Team.
