Christine is a Business Lecturer at Leeds Trinity University. She graduated with First-Class Honours from the British University in Egypt, holding another BSc (hons) degree from Loughborough University as well as a Master degree from University of New South Wales, Sydney. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Entreprnurship at the University of Strathclyde. Prior to joining LTU, she has worked at the University of Strathclyde and the British Univerity in Egypt. She is currently involved in multi-disciplinary and collaborative projects, bridging to other disciplines such as cultural heritage, urban studies and anthropology. 

Research interests

Christine's main research interests include:

  • Female Entrepreneurship
  • Contextualised Entrepreneurship
  • Social Entrepreneurship
  • Migrant and Minority Entrepreneurship

She is particularly interested in qualitative and creative research methods as well as contextual approaches for understanding entrepreneurial experiences.

Teaching and Administration

Christine's teaching pedagogy is engaging and interactive, based on problem solving activities, class discussions and debates. She has taught Entrepreneurship, International Business and Marketing modules in different universities including Leeds Trinity University, the University of Strathclyde and the British University in Egypt.
