Biography

Bob is a professional radio broadcaster with 15 years experience. He specialises in all-speech news programmes and regularly presents the award winning programme 'Breakfast' on BBC Radio Sheffield. Bob has worked across all BBC radio networks including BBC Radio 4, BBC Radio 5-live, BBC Radio Scotland and several BBC local radio stations. He is a Gillard Award winner and Sony Radio Academy Award nominee.
Bob is the managing director of the media production company Bob Walmsley Productions. He is a 3D animator and CGI artist and regularly works on high profile pop concerts, theatre productions and West End shows. He has recently worked on the Kate Bush 'Before The Dawn' concerts at the Hammersmith Apollo. He created special effects for the Oscar winning director Sam Mendes in his production of 'King Lear' at London's National Theatre. He also provided special effects for the Sir Tim Rice musical 'From Here To Eternity' at London's Shaftsbury Theatre.
