Biography

I am the author of The Mummy on Screen: Orientalism and Monstrosity in Horror Cinema (Bloomsbury Academic, 2019) and co-editor of Television, Sex and Society: Analyzing Contemporary Representations (Continuum, 2012). My various publications include studies of horror cinema, transnational television drama, crime drama and British historical drama.
