It is our sincere pleasure to invite you to the Westminster launch of the Teach Cornwall Report sponsored by Jayne Kirkham MP in The Palace of Westminster on 22 January 2026, 1200 - 1400.
A copy of the Teach Cornwall Report. Place-based challenges in trainee teacher recruitment (Ovenden-Hope, Brown and Walsh, 2025) is attached. Those attending the Parliamentary launch will receive a hard copy of the report on the day.
The launch will include a welcome from Jayne Kirkham MP, OneCornwall and Plymouth Marjon University, an overview of the report findings by the lead researcher and author, presentations from Prof Sam Twiselton and Prof Aimee Quickfall on national trainee teacher considerations relevant to the report, and opportunities for questions from audience.
