Attended as representative of LTU and academic/research partner for The Women in the Shade Charity.
Topics of discussions with the Minister as follows:
1. Our current research proposal on recruitment and retention of women of colour through the Police Uplift Programme 2. Police Race Action Plan- the challenges, scope and opportunities. 3. Lack of research funding and resources for race and equality research within policing. 4. Reducing and closing the awarding gaps in higher education.
