The theme of the conference is the history of mental health, with keynote addresses by Professor Gail Hornstein and Dr. Joanna Moncrieff. Papers will be invited to contribute in the areas of clinical psychology, psychiatry, service users, resistances to psychiatry, critical perspectives, interventions etc. It is anticipated that delegates will come from a broad range of academic and clinical disciplines including philosophy, history, psychology, sociology and psychiatry.
